    Roger,
on your upcoming transfer service, would you have any problems transfering my super-8 that was shot with a crystal sync camera @ 23.97fps..I use that speed for all my music video's.

Thanks and I look forward to doing business with you.

No problem. All the 24fps footage ends up at 23.97fps since I am transferring each frame of film to a frame of video using a 3:2 pulldown, just like the Rank does. Should work perfectly. If fact, it would be impossible for me to transfer at anything BUT 23.97fps!

Look forward to working with you. I hope to make a formal announcement in the next week. Still tweaking here and there.

    Neil,

What camera are you using that you got 23.97 sync for? Did TFG start offering that speed and I missed it? I was waiting for them to get around to it, or for Clive Tobin to start doing S8 cameras... seems like TFG always just offered 25/25fps...

    ???

I rent a 7008Pro that has the muli-crystal speeds...and I bought Clive Tobins super-8 multi crystal speed frankenstein camera off e-bay awhile back.
The camera is a mix of new (ie:multi crytal speeds)..and an old Kodak M-2 super-8 camera(fixed 13mm lens and small size)..but I love that camera!

I just finished a music video using the crystal sync M-2 for the lip sync performance and I bought 5 M-2 cameras for the band to shoot with.it came out pretty cool.they filmed themselves and their fans and other home movie like stuff.

Unfortunatly,Clive Tobin will not do camera mods..cause the guy makes some awsome electronics(I would love to have my Nizo 6080 with the multi-crystal speeds)
